On Saturday June 15, 2024, Idaho Falls "Oldest Running Race" will be held at Snake River Landing.  The Scenic River Classic 5K/10K/Half Marathon was originally begun as a fundraiser by DWI back in 1988.  Known then as the Bridge to Braves 5K Run, it ran from John Hole's boat dock around the Snake River greenbelt and ended at McDermott Field (which then was the home of the Atlanta Braves Minor League affiliate team.)

Currently staged by Live Forward Performance, proceeds are still donated to DWI.

Idaho Environmental Coalition is the Title Sponsor, but we are always looking for additional sponsors and volunteers.
