Rexburg Clients celebrated Mardi Gras in grand fashion today. Complete with a Parade with a King and Queen, masks, games and food. Clients chose their celebration this month and learned about the history of Mardi Gras. They earned "Mardi Gras Dollars" by studying history, helping prepare, making their masks and by participating in the Carnival Games. They then chose how to spend their money at the "food faire". Master Float builder Lori created the King and Queen float that allowed a wheelchair to be a part of the festivities. Lead Skills Trainer Jeneanne mentioned that the event allows the clients to meet their objectives in a fun way. If you have any questions about the LIFE program at DWI please contact Wes Dance.
