After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, All Staff Training Day was held on Friday April 20th. Nearly 100 staff from all three locations were able to meet each other, many for the first time. Elective classes were offered in Leadership, Ethics and Personal Finance/Budgeting. Corporate Department classes were held to reinforce topics to strengthen each department. With the new branding, new I.D. cards and journals with the new logo were distributed to all the staff members. CEO McKayla Matlack laid out the new vision that supports the new brand and logo and introduced the new company store. Lori Gentillon was recognized for her over 40 years of dedication to the mission and vision of DWI and was presented with a new easel and art supplies (she is an avid crafter and artist!).
Lunch was catered by Dixie's Diner and ICCU provided donuts in the morning. Guest presenters for the classes included Brock Pence from ICCU teaching the Finance/Budgeting class and Jared Oviatt from BBSI who facilitated the Culture, Leadership and Execution class.
We hope that everyone had a great time meeting others, learning new subjects and feeling engaged with our Mission. We look forward to making Staff Training Day an annual event again.
